Ummmmm will a male tiel do this. Is it normal

So my tiels were making happy noises I hadnt heard before. I looked to see why. Well um Jet was on top of Rex and they were both having some fun. Could Rex be a girl? Just based on this behavior.

Could possibly be a girl! How old are they??? Pictures of them? Boys can get on each other's backs too. It just depends...

This is Rex. I got him off cl a couple months back. No one. Knows his age or anything. He was found in a yard. Jet is beteeen 9 months and a year.

rex is definitely a boy! he's just the flamboyant one I'm assuming hahaha

Actually there is a good chance he is female. You might be guessing male from the face, but since he is pied that is not a good indicator. Pied cockatiels cannot be visually sexed by color unless they also have a sex linked mutation.
