well i have had bruno and prince for almost a week now and its been so much fun.
they have both settle in really well and seem quite content in their new surroundings.
Oxy seems to have accepted them now to a certain extent, he does show a few minor signs of jealousy. For example about 10 min ago im sitting in the arm chair on the comp and all 3 were sitting quietly on the back of the couch. Prince flew over to me and with in seconds oxy flew over aswell then prince flew off to the bird room.
both prince and bruno have become quite vocal and both are talking saying hello and what ya doin... oxy is following suit and seems to be trying harder and harder to talk.
i love all the noises they make, one of my fave's is the honky squeak they make, sounds like squeaky dog toy and oxy is making it too.
hmm what else, my partner recently pruned a few of the trees in my yard so we bought some branches in for the birds (gum tree) and they all love it. Both prince and bruno are chewing machines and didnt take long for them to reduce the smaller parts of the branches into tooth picks along with oxy's assistance.
Bruno has found his fave spot sitting on the back of the couch looking out the window at the mango tree. prince loves oxy's cage and oxy has settled down alot and will allow him to sit on it occasionally ( i just had to take prince out of it as oxy not to happy that he was in it and they were fighting through the bars).
i was so excited about bringing these 2 home but was worried that oxy wouldnt like them and knew it was going to take time for them to settle in. Im so wrapped that the transition has gone so smoothly and 90% of the time i have a happy flock
