Whew it's been forever since i've been on here, life calls. Kevin is turning a year old this month so it's about time for an update!
We have finally learned to mimic and we've JUST started talking. She can wolf whistle and her new favorite is to mimic the microwave beep.
In the last month we've started babbling CONSTANTLY. She says Hello, Hi, Hi There, Hi Kevin and some other unidentified burbles. it's the cutest thing ever. At least for the first few hours anyways. :54:
She still doesn't like her pellets much which I find bothersome, but she eats well otherwise. She's taken to Harrison's bird bread which they claim can be eaten as a supplement or something for pellets, but i'm not entirely trusting of that.
Our next goal is to get her into a bigger cage now that she's (finally) learned some aspect of balance. All in all, it's been a productive 8 months.
