Update on Mimi

So the vet said with a better diet Mimi will be healthier. She will allow us to pick her up without biting us now. She still just sits on her cage unless we come and pick her up. She seems to really like going for walk with my 17 yaer old daughter. They are bonding. Today I brought her into my room and let her play. She ran around on my bed then just sat on me for awhile. Little by little she is bonding with us and I hope she will eventually get along with the other birds.

I make a bird mash with oatmeal, whole corn, organic pasta, carrots, raisins, pumkin or sweet patotoes, and rice. Oh there is also peas in it. They getsmall amount of seed and fresh fruit also. I also make bird bread.
