Update on new grey

He started making noises last night. Its sort of a honk then he will chirp a high pitched chirp almost like a cockateil chirp. I think he is feeling more comfortable. He loves when i sit by his cage and talk softly to him.

His feet are not too great, almost look like he has arthritis or just that they have not been used a lot, he wasnt in a large cage where we got him it was pretty small. I am hoping that with excercise (sp?) this will improve.

Poor baby, I hope he gets better. I recommend scheduling a trip to the vet after he calms down. At least he's talking to you now.

I learned at my last bird class that the swings exercise there legs and feet. Perhaps you could get him used to one.

Worth a try on the swing and as soon as he is settled he will be going to the vet

He defiantly loves his new home.
He looks adorable.
Continue talking and talking, the bonding process is beginning.
Sure the vet will be able to answer your questions about his feet.
