all stores and pet shops say they dont have this drink, powdered carbs, to restore balance from bleeding and shock,, looks like its called enorid or something like that,, can anyone or breeder or person with birds help,, gotta get this stuff or equivalent,, thanks, urgent Beth,,
little baby parakeet battered by his frustrated father trying to mate again,,

Call the vet if you just saw him, they will clarify the writing and may also suggest other places to get it.

Some suggestions for fluids to give: Infalyte brand infant electrolyte solution, apple or grape juice, D5W (medical glucose/saline solution), bottled water with a little sugar or honey.*

Thanks so much for the warm welcome an emergency help,, meds couldnt be found and the writing on drs note was correct.
I got the warm honey and pedialyte,, im hearing a chirping, good sign indeed,, in little cage warm by self, no stressors, other than the feedings of the stuff, he/ or she appears to be doing well,,
I told you if i didnt his name or her name is Suni Blu Skye, I loved it the day was warm and sunny when he came home and yes hes or shes blue,, sky blue,,, :0 just changed spellings to make cuter, my opinion only,:)

hey BH, welcome to the forum. next time make a list of things you want to ask the vet, before you go. I all ways forget to ask something while i'm there. When you pay for that visit that vet does have some responsibility to you and your bird. Don't be afraid to call back and ask for clarification. It's also in his best interest for you to get it right . Today i left a message for my vet and he called right back, to make sure i had the dosage right.A "good" vet loves owners who get involved.Hope the baby responds well.
