Very exciting!

Someone here is getting one of my babies! It is exciting to know that my baby will have a caring paront who share the same forum. I like to see what the babies have become and so maybe I will be able to keep in touch through here every so often. It is also great to have so many experienced people help you when you have a question. All my paronts know they can ALWAYS contact me to help them with something, but I see the forum as an extra bonus! I tell all bird owners to belong to a forum such as this one, as you never stop learning. It is also important to have different points of view where you can then make the choice that best suits your situation.

Yup, I am going to be getting one of Echo's pineapple GCC girls in about two/three weeks. My boyfriend and I are very excited to be bringing a bird into our home. It's been a few years since I have had any birds and I really miss them, so I am really looking forward to this.

I love this forum! I like that you can get so many different opinions but people accept that we will all have different points of view. Very little judgement and just a lot of helpful people. I would love to find my next bird's breeder on this forum some day, someone who is active and knows their stuff!

Thank you everyone, I can't wait. I found a bigger cage then I already have for cheap because it is missing the bottom tray, but I can fix that. Hopefully it is still there tomorrow and I can go get it.

You should definitely get something on the bottom that prevents the bird from going for the discarded food and their droppings.

The cage has the bottom grid, it is just missing the pull out tray. And that is an easy fix.
