I have an older conure, when his cage is in one room he becomes very aggresive. When I bring him and his cage to another room he acts like his lovable old self. What could cause this. He is a bit hormonal right now too. He only recently started acting this way.

he sees the room as his nest so is defending it from intruders. If his cage can be moved to the other place for the time being and it calms him down then stick with that
