Birdie, my Lutino lovebird.
My lovebird is less than three months old, and it has been with me for a little over a week.

Every afternoon or evening, it starts screaming (not just chirping, but nonstop screaming) and wandering around like it is looking for a mate or another bird. It isn't hungry, thirsty, bored, or needing attention.

It *did* have a cagemate, back in the store, so it probably is missing its friend, but...

How do I stop it, or what do I do?

Does he have play toys??? He will get over that eventually unless you want to get him a mate.

Yeah, my bird has lots of toys, and we constantly find new things for it. I don't want to get a mate for it, so I don't know what to do...

Lovebirds will stay tamer if you kept it single cause if you get a mate, he might go wild on you but not if you kept constant interaction. I have a single Lovebird but there's other birds around to keep him company.
