So Sammy has officially been in my home for one week. Up until yesterday his poops were normal, but yesterday and today they have become really watery, no white in them just greenish brown poo and clear urine. I have read this can be a result of stress and also he has just been switched from a 100% seed diet to a mix of pellet and seed. Could this be the problem? Or do we need to go to the vet?

The olive green normally indicates the the bird has been eating pellets, but unless your bird bathes before eating, your bird probably should be taken in for a veterinary visit.....

The eating of tomatoes or other watery foods can watery poop, as can an infection, either viral or from a parasite.....

Good luck.....

I have one umbrella cockatoo. A female 3 years old named Mina.
Puck that sometimes happens to Mina my U2. Usually after she drinks a lot. If it's consistent yeah you definitely need to talk to your vet. Also tomatoes are a no go for parrots. At least that is what my AV told me and I have seen them on the do not feed list.
