We got pellets!!! Yayyy

The pellets I ordered arrived! These were the only ones I could find in our country to order, are they okay? (photos attached)
Hopefully they're enough to sustain the pellet/veggie diet.

Cosmo LOVES THEM! He jumped on the box and screamed while I was opening them and he jumped into the bowl too xd. He is happily eating them so I'm glad.

I know I should feed him the pellets first thing in the morning but I'm lost as to how much. And then if I'm correct I give him the veggie chop in the afternoon? Can I skip rice, quinoa and lentils in the chop if he eats pellets and just cut up some peppers carrots and cucumber?
And also can I smash the pellets into smaller bits? I feel like it would be easier for him

He weighs around 65 grams if that's any help.

I haven't heard of that kind but I am glad he likes them! Generally you want to leave pellets out all the time, all day long.

I'm guessing parrots don't tend to overeat? Hhahahah, still stuck on my labrador mentality, had to hide pellets from that damn dog

No, they eat frequently throughout the day and that is normal.

I don't know where you live, but we too do not have pellets in the entire country. I'm not finding any in the country to our north either. However I found a store who is hopjng to get a Nutribird order in a couple of weeks. With the situation there, i am doubtful. So I am having feeding struggles with my new Grey youngster.
