Hello everyone.
I would like to share with you video of my CAG playing mini basketball.
It took her quit a while (about a month) to learn this trick because at the beginning she was afraid of a construction. So we had to work and progress slowly, but at the end she appeared to be very talented player.

Thank you very much Wdlodge:-)

awesome job!
it doesn't matter how long it takes, as long as the goal is achieved :)

That is awesome! How did you teach that? I bought a basketball hoop but I am having a hard time showing how to do it. I am trying to think like my birds to figure out how to make them understand however so far no luck! I would appreciate any help! Your bird is beautiful!

Haha I had to watch this again. She really is a lovey bird. I like her talent too. :D

Such a talented bird wow
That sure was enjoyable to watch
Keep up the great work
Thanks for sharing

Thanks a lot.It took us a while because at first she was afraid of basketball (every AG has this fear of nothing moments) so I started from giving her treats on the table with basketball, each time I gave her treat closer to the basket, until she became fearless. For actually teaching her the trick I used 'fetch trick" as a basis. First she had to simply put a ball inside a cup. Then I brought the cup under the "basket", so she had to put the ball through the "basket" and finally I removed the cup.
Good luck, share your video when you have a success with this trick!

Thank you, thank you. And congrats on Mishka's TV career! He most certainly has this "star quality" about him!

He is getting there slowly but surely, beginning to say quite a bit of the script already.

Thank you very much very nice of you!

Oh I love the Gray's! And seeing them in action, melts my heart. I'd have a gray if my circumstance were different. I hope one day though, its a possibility but we'll see. I am extremely happy with my Sennie, Rio. I had a red factor Canary, who died last year, I was nuts over him. Rio has helped mend the whole in my heart since he died.

Rio looks very lovely. I am sure he is great companion. Hold fingers for you in hope that one day you'll join an AG to you flock.

Yes, she is really great. I have had for almost two months now. She and I are still bonding. I finally got her where she isn't afraid of my hands anymore and now she like head scratches. And if I am sitting in my chair she will come down the side of her cage to see what I am doing and sit next to me on her perch attached to her cage. She is trying to mimic me. I like to say to her 'what, what chicken butt!" and now she is mimicking and tries to finish the statement before I do. I just love her.
