My 76-day-old cockatiel, brought in half a week ago, has a pretty weak call. She's eating very well and tends to stay about half way up the cage, at the food bowls.
Her feathers are very clean, not scruffy, but her call is weak. From time to time she makes a weak call, and sometimes normal-er ones. She also does not tend to move much, but prefers to eat and sometimes climb.
When around people, she enjoys chewing their hair, and enjoys being scratched, although she initially does not like being taken out from her cage.
She was raised at Golden Cockatoo, a bird-only store.
Is this normal?
