Weird crop inflating behavior

So far I have had this bird about 13 hours, and he/she is pretty cool.

I wanted to ask about his weird behavior. He'll be sitting there doing bird stuff, and seems like he inflates his crop with air (sounds like a balloon is inflating) and gets all poofy. Then he lets it out. He was at a vet's office for a week, and they said that it's something he does for fun. He seems to be cheerful when he is doing it. He also does the head bouncy thing like he is thinking about regurgitating.

Has anybody heard of the balloon crop thing? It's just weird.

I have never seen that...can you get a video of that? That does sound weird...

lol sounds just my Elvis. Bobbed his head to regurgitate and inflated his crop like a balloon - sometimes, just to do it, other times to scare off strangers, but mainly right before talking. It's normal.
