Weird point on 2 wk old sun conures beAk?

There's this point, it's kinda hard, looks like it might be part of its beak? It's a small point, if it were on a human itd look like a pimple, no redness. It's towards the end of the beak on top. Is it something I should worry about? Or is it normal for 2 week old sun conure babies? thanks.

I'm not an expert by any means but it may be too early to tell since its only 2 weeks old. I would call a vet and ask if maybe they can tell you over the phone if it's normal or not. Worst case, they have you come in to look. At least you will get an answer. Post some pics of the cutie when you can, I'm sure everyone would love to see the little guy/girl.

I have never seen a new hatched baby but don't the babies have a notch on the beak where they break out of the egg? (i prob sound like an idiot but i thought they did)

Lol sounds like your baby still has his egg tooth! its a little bump on there beak that they use to crack the shell to hatch! google "sun conure egg tooth" and see if they look the same
