Baby needs a new name. His name is literally baby.

Baby is about 5 years old.

I'm apparently never eating a meal in peace again. Lol.

LOL! Bad baby! (Cute baby!)
In all seriousness though, I would not let him take things off of your plate for a variety of reasons:
1. Human saliva can make birds sick.
2. Human foods can make birds sick (salt, sugar, fat, avocado, caffeine, chocolate, rhubarb, mushrooms, onion, garlic, leeks, chives and so on)
3. If you let this go on, he will be really mad and insistent when you try to lay down the law.

Wellllllllllllllllll... what are Baby's habits, characteristics, vocalizations? Those can be great inspirations for names.
Wow, Baby is in beautiful condition! And such an innocent, sweet expression...

Elysian (beautiful, perfect, creative, peaceful) because your bird makes me think of an elysian sunset! Welcome home beautiful baby!

Noodles I had my food separate. I wasn't sure he would come get any. I've had him 2 days. I know the chips and tortilla is not great. He didn't actually eat much.

I would never let any of my fids have deadly foods such as chocolate onions avocado.

My next meal will definitely have chop on it for him.

This was the first meal in my room with him out.

So I'm thinking he's a Pineapple Green Cheek.

His previous parront died. The daughter didn't want him. This is his final home.

I’m glad Baby has found a forever home with you. As for the name I’d probably stick with Baby, if he was mine I’d probably be calling him that most of the time anyway regardless of the actual name ...

Baby is adorable! I would leave his name - he’s probably quite used to it. I have a sun conure named Baby too....and she came with the name (she was 3 when I got her) so I didn’t change it :).

Maybe change it to something that sounds similar? Here’s what Alexa says:

Oh no...the dreaded "slant rhymes" --I don't know what my elementary school teachers did to me, but as for as rhymes in my book, the only one on that list that truly rhymes is "maybe". Slant rhymes make me cringe a bit...and I think I am broken lol! Gravy and wavy are close, but "v" is not "b" LOL!

Congrats on Baby! I personally think he looks like a Mr. Meiko.

I am not sure that you should change it (because the bird probably knows it well..) but if I were picking names based solely on looks, I'd go with something regal/funny, like Laurence or Charles...although Ralphie (Christmas story kid) could also work haha! Very cute, again!

Congratulations! Baby is adorable!!

Here's my two cents:
Girl - Sadie, Lady
Boy - Grady, Brady

That's all I got for now. :D

I'll probably just go with be be. It's super close.

Beautiful bird, Grace!! Baby is a popular name, member "smbrds" has a cockatiel with same name!

He looks like a Pete to me, but he might as well be Lucky (he found you) ;)

(Never ask me to come up with a name, I am really, really bad at naming beings; my first two tropical frogss were named Frrrr and Ogg. In my defense: they were sprung on me, so I did not have any time to think about it- went to pick up and 'empty' vivarium for/with a friend: he ended up with the tank, I adopted some surprise-frogs.)

That is a lovely looking bird :)
(yup, get used to 'sharing' meals)

Thank everyone who replied so far. He's a Pineapple right? According to the lady I got him from he's a DNA'd mail but the paperwork was lost.

+1 for coming up with bad names. In the current crew I have a blue tongue skink named Kit-Kat, a blood parrot fish named Silly Fish, and a leopard gecko named Paws.

I would probably just keep Baby, honestly. That’s what I did with Leo and now he has a lot of nicknames (like Tit-Bird, buddy, and dude). If I got a ‘Baby’, I’d guarantee they’d be called ‘Babes’ by the end of the week. :p

He definitely favors Leo (I literally had to look twice when you posted pictures), but I’m sure someone with more IDing experience will chime in soon.
