Ok so I work at a place that serves crawfish, and my husband and I go in usually once a week during crawfish season to have some. My gliders LUV crawfish!!!! Its great enrichment for them also as I give them to them whole and they tear them apart. I always reboil them so as to get as much spice out as I can, and have never had any problems, but I realize my baby is not a glider, lol!

Has anyone ever given their conures crawfish? I would think it would be great enrichment, like foraging, but I wanted to check on here first before I even considered it. They would be fully cooked. THX!!!

To be honest, I've never seen much about any type of seafood or fresh water fish or other things as far as birds go. If it is well boiled, it is probably ok, although I don't know if I would feed it regularly.

I have given my conure crab with the shells. They love it. We have seen no adverse reactions. It is so funny as soon as they smell the crab cooking they start dancing and saying mine.
