What do you do with kale? Birdie recipes!

Someone gave me some veggies they wouldn't be able to use before going on vacation and there is kale. No one eats kale in my house. Kiwi gave me that sideways "are you kidding me" look when I put some chopped kale in his dish (needless to say, it was not appreciated).

I'm wondering what to do with this stuff? I'm sure it's healthy for him and I hate to waste food, but I will probably have to bake it into something for him to eat it. So what kind of recipe can I use to get some kale into Kiwi's tummy?

My guys love a whole leaf put into their cage between the bars. I know you can also bake it and make chips out of it.

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F.

Remove the ribs from the kale and cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces. Lay on a baking sheet and toss with the olive oil and red chili flakes or cayenne. Bake until crisp, turning the leaves halfway through, about 20 minutes.

I used this recipe a couple of times and they loved it!

Thanks Terry, Theres quite a bit of it, so I will try the chips. They also gave us spinach and broccoli, but we eat spinach, and Kiwi LOVES broccoli (we like it too, but he goes nuts for it), so perhaps I can figure out something else to do with the broccoli and add in the kale most sneakily

P.S. Am I totally mean for feeding poor ol' Kiwi something I wouldn't eat myself
