cinnamon green cheek conure named bishop 2 r 3 years old
for bishop he is a green cheek conure i would like to take him to parks and for walks. i can not use a flight suite for we have lots of hawks in downtown.

Bird Travel Cage

I got this, unfortunately in the 'large' size for Merlin (senegal) and he got his head stuck, HOWEVER. I would certainly recommend it, but deffo get the small size for your gcc, I'll be reordering the smaller size asap :)

We bought a small cat/dog carrier, and it works well.

I use a small cat carrier but I put a perch from side to side. Screw it to the carrier on both sides so it stays still for the travel. If u don't do side to side they tend to bonuce more and the birds don't like it as much.

I also use the plastic, airline approved cat and large cat/small dog ones with the metal grate door. I put a towel in the bottom to keep the bird from sliding around, and I have drilled for perches for 2 of them. However in the car, I think they are safer sitting on the towel than a perch. Rowdy and Pete also like to hang on the door.

Yes! This exactly. I put a perch in for a while, but she prefers to stay on the towel or hang on to the metal grate door.

I know, I want one, but the prices are  Merlin would just love that though so she could be attached to me all day while I did housework and stuff. And I could take them to the park in it.

Well how about this, after I win the Megamillions on Friday I'll buy Merlin one, ok? :D

I would be forever grateful:)

I just realized I was actually going to buy a lottery ticket today. I told IcyWolf if I won I'd pay her bf's hospital bill. I forgot to buy it.

I recently purchased a Caitec Perch & Go. When I first unpacked it, I thought the polycarbonate was fragile and that it would break trying to put it together. However, once I figured out how to put it together correctly, it snapped together easily and is very sturdy. My Eclectus, Emmett and I love the visibility. It came with a cheap plastic perch, so I swapped it out for a cholla wood perch. It's lightweight and not at all cumbersome to carry around.

OMG I so have to get one of those! Puffin would LOVE it! I nearly had a fit when I saw the stroller! I called everyone in the house to come look! We travel a lot with Puffin and if it is local driving ( I often take him to work where he can roam free without worrying about the cats) and I use a pet carrier and like the others he sits on a towel but we also have a cage we use when going on long trips and he loves that too but this is a whole new experience!
