That looks like a MALE VOS ECKIE to me...

The SI Eckies are smaller, I think.

I am absolutely SURE it's a MALE.

 Yep... just by looking at a photo...

Thank you, I just wasn't sure if he was a Vos or a SI:)

Just kidding! Sorry. Natural born smart a$$...

He looks like one of the bigger ones to me, which would make him a VOS. The SI's are the smaller of the two.

I would also say he's a Vosmaeri. The beaks of both SI and RS have the candy cane color, while the Vos not so much. Also, both SI and RS are lighter green. :)

No apology necessary, I got a laugh out of that which is always appreciated:)

I honestly didn't see that many eckies, so I don't know that much about them.

Mostly females, and mostly for biting or plucking issues.

This is another species that doesn't seem to get rehomed much...

[Toos, amazons, macaws.]

I didn't even think about the beak thing. Don't the females have some sort of differences in eye ring colors or something...?! I don't think the males do, but the females do.

I don't remember so good anymore.

I'm not sure on the species But wholly molly I would say its way over priced as I have a Vos and it cost me 900 Australian Dollars.
( Bad pick I am using atm)

If that's in Oz, and a hand-raised bird, $900 is cheap for a Vos. Even "grands" seem to attract a premium in Perth. The Edmonton bird seems way overpriced to me, although not familiarr with Canadian market.

Inorder to really know you have to look at him in person and take a measurement of him head to tail and also the length of his tail. Plus the coloring on the tip of his tail would tell you as well.
