What months of the year do Conures get hormonal?

I live in the northern hemisphere (Atlanta GA, USA). What months of the year should I expect my daughter's Sun Conure to get hormonal?

My sun is really sweet year round. Gets a bit nippy but nothing to show for it.
But then again I care for an amazon. Hormones at there best lol.
Unless paired up. Horomones shouldn be to much of a problem for conures.
But they still have em and I'd say spring to fall there at there peak.
What kind of conure??

Dear All,

I am a new member and unfortunately this spring I have just experienced a parrot breeding nightmare.

I have a pair of ringnecks and a pair of jenday conures. Both of them laid eggs (ringnecks 4 and jenday 3) and started their incubation period.

Both of them eceeded there incubation time (i.e approximately 23 days), and I was shocked with what I saw.

I broke the eggs and I found all 7 chicks (all formed with beak, wings, legs) dead in their eggs.

Can someone tell me what went wrong as I feel that this is an experience which I do not want anyone to experience :20:.

Try posting your own thread. You get more response. But I have no clue on your question. Iv honestly thought incubation for conures was over over 20 days. Like 30.
Your not trying to hybridize are you.
