What space heaters do you use?

I'm visiting my parents for my brother's wedding and brought my bird along. At home he has an Avitec cageside heater, but I couldn't bring it. He has a heated perch, but my dad has a DeLonghi space heater that he's put in the room. I haven't used it yet, though - I called the company and the lady said they get bird safe questions all the time, that there is a little teflon in their heaters but not enough to hurt the bird and that their heaters have been tested to be safe for animals, including birds. Has anyone used DeLonghi fan heaters and confirmed their safety? Or, though I hate to go buy one, do you recommend another brand for heating a single room?

Never been to space. But I'd imagine it's cold.

That brand is perfectly safe. I used one in my bedroom right after I had brought Con home to keep my bedroom at a good temp. She never had any ill effects for all the years I used it before switching to an EdenPure.
