Whats going on ??????

It is summer here in Australia and I have my ring neck hen's doing the 'mating dance' the hens are getting right in the face of the male birds opening there wings and bobbing left to right. One of the hen's is having a good look in the nesting box.
Surly they are not wanting to breed.

They're your ringnecks.....have you been allowing them to watch the wrong videos/movies.....are you feeding some special waters or foods?

Bird in the wild pair up... Then they look for a nesting site... If they find one, they'll breed... If they don't, they'll leave it...

You have provided a nesting site for your birds... So... why do you think they wouldn't want to breed?

I thought they only bred in the breeding season not summer I was told they breed from September onwards perhaps I'm wrong.
