What's Happening

My female GCC is approaching 4 yrs. I've recently noticed some behavioral changes. She has a toy that I believe she is using to pleasure herself. Its in a convenient place for her to be rubbing the lower part of her back against.


Should I ignore the behavior, move the hanging toy or replace the toy with something else.

Ignore, also make sure she is getting good sleep! No cozy hut! Tolerate mood swings!!!
Buy some bandages, for yourself!

All creatures masturbate... Uhm.. so it's good to have an outlet..
My GCC who passed used to do this, even had a crescendo of vocalizations that went with it.

As so well stated above! Your baby is growing-up, welcome to adulthood...

Note: Be mindful that she will be faced with chemical induced mood swings resulting from the Hormonal chemical flows. It is important to know that she has little to no control over them and is just as surprised about it as you. It is not uncommon for them to have a look of what just happened after such an event. Currently, you may not be seeing such an event. But, know that it can happen with little advance notice.
