SassyByrd (DYH Amazon) JoJo (GCC) Betty (GCC) DEARLY LOVED fids lost to “Teflon Disaster 12/17 RIP Pickles (GC),RIP Winston (Sun), RIP Lady PLEASE TAKE 5 MINUTES &TOSS OUT ALL YOUR TEFLON NOW!
I have 3 conures that are a year old. They all like to explore everything with their beaks, including me. They are always gentle (except the GC when she is in a mood) but all in all they are all gentle.

When can I expect occasional / trial hard bites. I know this is a really stupid question but I never want the honeymoon to end!

What can I do now to prevent future problems with hard biting?

Thanks in advance!

Just chiming in because I would like to know too :)

There's really no way to know. They may chomp tomorrow and they may never chomp. There's no way to know.

Do they chomp as early as 7 weeks and if they do is that an indication that he/she is going to be an aggressive bird?

Babies can have some different reasons than adults to bite, so no.
Also, to address the OP, at a year old your birds are plenty old enough to bite hard if they want to ;).
