when do galahs reach full size?

I'm wondering when a rose breasted cockatoo reaches full size. I have a 9 week old rosie and he seems on the smallish side. I am wondering when they reach full size. He is very active, he flies a lot! He is on two hand feedings a day (I add a bit of peanut butter) He also gets pellets, birdie muffins, fresh fruit & veggies as well as a small bit of seed.
I saw his clutch mates the other day and they seemed bigger & they are females which are usually smaller.

Galahs reach full size during their adolescent stage, which i'm pretty sure is 2-4 years old. Maybe your galah was born a little small however. Give him some time

careful with the peanut butter, fat in the first 6-12 months is ok when used carefully, but a good high quality pellet such as harrison's high potency will give them the extra calories in a safer way.

at 9-12 weeks, they're pretty much full sized, but will have a lot more developing to do, building muscles and filling out a little more. It's worth bearing in mind that Galahs like everything on earth come in a size range, 270-400g is considered acceptable weights for Galahs, some are more petite and fine structured than others and some are chunky little winged piggies. as long as your baby is within this range, eating well and well in himself, then i wouldn't worry.

I agree, by 9-12 weeks they are full size length and height wise. But they're also at fledging weight. So by 1year of age, theyll be much heavier than at fledged weight.

Are you feeding him correct consistency? Is it thick enough?

I am feeding the correct consistency. I add a bit of peanut butter to increase the protein and calories a bit while fledging. My bird does get quite a bit of exercise, we fly him outdoors in his harness and he flies quite a bit in the house. I am thinking that this could be it. His siblings at the breeder do not fly the same amount. He is very active, very curious, he is eating his pellets and veggies quite well. I guess I should stop worrying!
