White Spot on Green Cheek's Tongue?

I just noticed that my green cheek conure, Shado, has a white spot on the tip of her tongue. It's a pretty good size, like a safflower seed but round. Maybe even a little bigger. She keeps making chewing noises too. She's still eating and drinking and I've been trying to get her to eat veggies lately (spinach, carrots, green peppers). Is this something I should be worried about? I can take her to the vet right now if I need to. I've just never heard of this problem and I don't know if I need to be concerned. Thanks for your help!

I brought her to the vet and they said they aren't too concerned and that I should just keep an eye on her.

I've heard white in the throat could be yeast, but don't know much about it. Remember Shado wasn't feeling well awhile back. I hope she's feeling better now :)

Thanks :) Shado is doing really well now, and the white spot appears to be gone. All is good!
