Some soulless excuse for a person fronted like they wanted to adopt a dog from us so my fiance DEOVE HER 500 MILES ONE WAY to go meet the adopter who then made excuse after excuse until we realized it was a lie from the start! Tomorrow is my birthday and that lying sack of scum is the reson my fiance won't be home until late in the evening. We have been speaking with the adopter for WEEKS and confirmed the meet up time, that we were transporting her from KENTUCKY TO WASHINGTON DC several times. We even asked for and got confirmation hours before he left that yes, they wanted her and were going to be able to meet during that time.



1000 miles my fiance will have to drive this dog because some jerk couldn't be honest that no, they didn't want to adopt her!!!!


We work with many rescues, and we will be adding this pair to the DNA(do not adopt) list. This is the list rescues and shelters check in their adoption process. How DARE they lead us on like this!! If they had been jonest from the start we would have kept looking for an ACTUAL adopter for this poor dog who is the real victim here. We would have been able to find someone else interested in her. With me being injured as I am, this was the ONE shot we had to be able to have someone visit and help out on the farm so he could transport her. Now she has lost her transport slot until at least the summer. I CANNOT BELIEVE SOME PEOPLE. I am seeing red I'm so dang mad!!!!!


If anyone does rescue and wants more information PM me, or let me know if I can publicly shame these evil people on this forum. Unless we were given a fake name, I have their name. I have their phone number. I can probably find more from those 2 bits of information too. I'm just SO MAD. This dog deserves a great home and they cost her a chance at it!!!!

Wow. I can't believe they made you go through all that trouble to get them a good dog and yet, didn't want her. I really wonder why people would even do that.

I really hope that dog finds a good home. Also happy early b'day​

Oh yeah there is a list. Helps to keep track of dog foghters, people who have a history of surrendering dogs, people who don't get vet care for their dogs, give false information in the adoption process, etc etc etc etc. There are a lot of bad people out there.
