Wild Harvest Bird Protector

Wild Harvest Bird Protector. We looked at Walmart and Meijer for this little round tin thing that attaches to the side of the cage. Supposed to keep your birds from getting lice and mites. Anyone have their recommendations? Favorite brand?? I attached a picture so that we are on the same page.

I've never used that. I've never even seen that before. Personally I think you'll be fine with good, thorough cage cleaning and spraying with something SAFE that repels lice and mites.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Remove paper seal from container and hang 8 in 1 Bird Protector [Product Name] on outside of cage with perforations facing cage. For best results cover cage at night. Clean cage weekly with soap and hot water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Replace when slight odor of paradichlorobenzene [the product] cannot be detected in the morning after cage is uncovered.
