I'm curious...should we put a UV light in a part of her cage for her?

A proper (avian-rated) UV lamp is supposed to help the parrot produce Vitamin A (which is a respiratory requirement), and can greatly help with feather condition and temperament. They can be pricey however, and there isn't 100% consensus on their efficacy.

That said, I always use a UV lamp with my birds.
