Woohoo...new tail feathers are coming in! (Plus some cute photos)

Finally, Sakura is growing her tail back! The feathers are coming in so quickly I'm sure she'll have a normal tail soon.

She is such a beautiful bird! I didn't hear how she lost her tail, but the little stubs look so cute. I hope she stays real careful while they are in the blood feather stage all at once.

She is a pretty good girl, honestly. I think you have to be a little bit out of your mind to live with a parrot, period -- but I wouldn't say Sakura requires much less sanity than any other bird.

She lost her tail in a night fright before I got her. Luckily she hasn't had one since, and since she doesn't fly or roughhouse much I have high hopes of it growing back normally.
