Aww and the poor babies are plucked. Some people.. I swear.

Did I miss something because I see cockatiels!?

LoL.. cocketiels.. listed as 'macaws'

I know, not only do they not know what they are, but the first one is plucked bad on its head.

i swear every time i look through the CL pets section i end up loosing a bit more of my faith in humanity. What is wrong with people these are living breathing, feeling things would it kill us to treat them as such and maybe...just MAYBE give them what they deserve??
a little knowledge of how to care for them...MAYBE???
and we really need to get rid of this "pets are disposable" mind set so many seem to have...

Wow. And I thought the "yellow and green pigmented African grey parrot" (Senegal) was bad. I just am at a loss.

I'm glad I read all your posts before clicking on cdogs 'birds for sale'. I have bad dreams that relate to what I view during the day. Thanks for the warning.

That's as bad as the guy who insisted that the lost dog in his picture was a Frenchie when it was clearly a Boston Terrier (it's easy to tell them apart if you know either one of the breeds, even in a photo)! Wow... those are the tiniest Macaws I've ever seen!!

I'm surprised they aren't charging $1000 and calling them pocket or micro macaws!

:(

I hate craigslist/preloved etc. Why can't people really look into what the animal needs - and deserves - before getting it? :(

I still sometimes can't sleep at night from some horror stories about twisted and sick people and what they've done to animals (especially birds who are so so defenceless) eurg. I won't recall them on here because I daren't leave the images in your head too. Some vile people live on this earth. :(

The people are just clueless , but that is not excuse either.
My friend who works a pet store explains exactly what the animal needs and if the people start to complain , then she tells them that they should look into another pet , like a pet rock or a plant maybe....
