Hello, My fiance and I just purchased our very first 'large' bird. Her name is Petunia and she is a beautiful pineapple green cheek conure! Shes an absolute sweetie but has a definate nipping problem that we're hoping to cure asap! Shes only 4 months old so we have a long way to go We will be posting pictures soon!

Ooh congratulations!! I was going to get a GCC (specifically, a pineapple GCC) myself, but I decided to go with what my heart's been trying to tell me for a year and I've decided to get a sun conure instead . Haven't gotten him yet, but I'm hoping to soon. Definitely do post pictures! And good luck with the nipping!

Thank you both for the welcome! Boo, my fiance also loves suns but he fell in love with Petunia the day he met her lol and as far as the nipping goes..thats a big problem -sigh-
Antoinette, i absolutly love greys and thats what i would truly love to have but they are very far out of the price range lol

I can tell you that the nipping will stop as your birdo matures and gains trust with you. Best thing to do is not have her in the position to bite you at this present time. She is learning her whole new world and biting is the only way she can tell you she is uncomfortable.

Listen to her and you will do great!
