Looking for a quality Breeder with YNA somewhere in state of Florida. Guy i had lined up with from the forums fell through on me. Any Breeder's or suggestions would be fantastic!

Sorry to hear that your arrangement with Henpecked did not work out.

Your area has at least one Certified Avian Vet (CAV) and that is where I would start my search!

Yea me too was very excited back in October and then when I finally got in ugh with him again he said he wasn't breeding this year so I have to find another. I'll check out my local avian vet and see if I can get pointed in the right direction! Thank you!

Hey, Adult YNA's can be found in your area also! I kind of recall your past Threads, but the details have thinned with time. Anyway, while asking the CAV about Breeders, also ask about Adult YNA's that maybe looking for a home. There are some real sweethearts out there!

If you come across a baby, remember that the new CITES regulations will need to be followed. Basically, it comes down to getting a hatch certificate from the Breeder with a Bill of Sale! Make sure your CAV gets a copy or makes a copy for your Amazon's medical file. It will all make more sense a couple of years from now when everything is in place. Much easier to get the documents now than to have to back track later!

Thank you for that Sailboat!!! I will certainly obtain the documentation. I am getting my bird from featherheads in port charlotte, all great reviews, he seems very nice and attentive and has YNA that hatched last week and will be ready in about 12 weeks hopefully!!

You seem to have found what you were looking for. Good luck!! Keep us updated with what you find out and when you get your amazon!! :D

I absolutely will!!! I'm picking up a 72x36x28 cage this weekend and will have a little time to get all the toys, training tools, and continue learning so YNA is happy and healthy!

FYI: Assemble the cage upside down on a flat floor! It will make assembly much easier! That assumed that you didn't get a dome top, which can be a pain to assemble.

Do Not Push Regarding Getting Your YNA Early! Do not bring the Parrot home until it has been on solid food 'only' for at least two full weeks!!!
