Is it still too young to be on its' own? It seemed upset with the change. Is that to be expected, or should I return it to its' Moms' cage?

Tiels aren't weaned until at least 8 weeks to 12 weeks on average. Parakeets are earlier... Need specifics.... are you handfeeding it?
