Unfortunately I didn't get to hear her first words, my girlfriend texted me while at work to say she was saying "hello" and "what are you doing" which are some of the phrases I say to Yuko. She really hasn't said anything while I've been home till today, while she was on my shoulder she said "hello" pretty clearly and talked some today for me finally!
That is great news, awesome when a bird begins talking
It might take Yuko time to open up and talk, many birds are shy in the beginning.
Ask your GF to to leave a recorder on, you might be surprised that Yoko is perhaps saying more words.
