They should be non toxic if it is a kids teddy. It also looks small so he should be able to just pass it. Just like a kid. :).

It is small, hopefully it will be "passed through"

Always check toys for small objects, that a bird is able to remove.

This is just an observation that I have made with Coby and I imagine that most of our little hook beak friends are like this. He has amazing dexterity with his tongue and beak and it is not very likely that he would accidently swallow something. When I first got him I freaked when he would get a chunk of something in his mouth but after spending a considerable amount of time watching him I came to the conclusion that he probably as much or more control over his beak and tongue as we do with our hands.

Keep looking for the other one. If it got flung out of the cage, it could have bounced and rolled to who-knows-where. You'll feel better if you find it. Either way, it is tiny and should pass through.

Joshua, I have to watch my patty if anyone is wearing a sweater or jacket with zippers.....she removes the individual links very deftly & almost faster than I can grab her...when sh first did it I thought she'd swallowed the ones she'd removed, but after a vet visit for X-rays, we figured she just rolled them around in her mouth then dropped them someplace.....iI wouldn't be surprised that if you take another look around, the missing eye will show up.....

I believe it will pass, but I want to give a warning to using stuffed animals in grown birds cages. We had a fellow rescuer that gave a mutilating cockatoo stuffed animals and this made her happy, but she also loved to chew them apart, well all was good until she started eating the stuffing and she ate so much till they got home and to the vet she had passed.

Ever since the I view stuffed animals ask if you are playing with them and the stuffed animal, but I will not let them have it in there cage.

It is probably just lost. :)

Just in case though, peanut butter helps to pass thing through, I believe. Oh, and also a few drops of olive oil.

thanks guy I think I'm going to remove the Ted anyway :)
