Zupreem Food Recall!!

i got an email from petsmart about the recall. there are elelvated calciums levels in the food.

Thanks!! I do have a question for the knowledgeable cockatiel people. can a cockatiel get too much calcium. Its always something we are hard pressed striving to get into them. Not that i would serve a recalled food to my babies but it brought the question to mind....THANKS

The simple answer is yes.

The recalled food is fruitblend diets with date code Best Before 11/30/13 (some of the bigger bags will just say 11/13). It only includes the Large Parrot and Medium/Large Parrot/Conure (item numbers beginning with 83XX and 84XX). The other fruit blend products are not effected.

Ok. Good Just checked my bag and it says 12/13 on it...so I should be ok.!
