So, Leia's a relatively small Alexandrine, but that's never stopped her from completely destroying toys from the macaw section in no time!
This is her favorite, I always stock up on a bunch of them whenever I order new toys - she usually goes through one in about 5-7 days:

This time I thought I'd get something that would "last".... Hm.
I got her this swing, figuring she'd spend a couple of days on the softer, chewable parts, and then get bored with the hard wood because it's too hard.

That was quite the bold assumption!
All of the soft chewable parts were gone the next day and the hard wood absolutely didn't scare her off. Neither of my amazons would go for hard wood like this, but Leia is 95% beak, so I should have known!

It's been 17 days now. Apart from the softer pieces, the swing started out with 36 chunks of hard wood.
Today, only 15 of those pieces are left. Everything else has turned to tiny woodchips in my trash can. I've only found two pieces that's fallen off to the floor before she could finish them completely!
Left is day 2, right is today

She sure is a small bird with big destructive energy! :D

It's incredible isn't it! Despite it costing a small fortune each month, it's great to see them really stuck in, the force they can exert for is really something.
Our resident woodchipper now clambers up to her swinging perch, gathers momentum and swings at the toys before beaking them with all her might :D

I'm going to have a look for that swing perch you have there, Rii would be all over it!

Leia is so small, yet she goes for the hard wood toys my big boys (amazons) won't even touch - I'm 40% horrified and 60% very proud ;) :D
I love those lil' woodchipper Alexandrines. :')

Oooh, I see you're in the UK! The swing is from Scarletts Parrot Essentials, a UK store, if you haven't shopped there before I *highly* suggest you check it out - it's definitely my favorite bird store, they have so much fun stuff and everything is mindblowingly affordable, even for someone like me who pays £26 international shipping with each order!

The swing I have pictured is the "Munchy Swinger - Medium Parrot Swing" :D

You're a star, thank you! I had a quick search this morning but I couldn't find it - She has one on its way (plus a few extra goodies, naturally).

I love it if we have visitors, the bleak look on their faces as they stare at graveyard of twisted, shredded wood, and bare chains "….what have you got in there!?..." :D

Hahaha, luckily I have a big backyard with lots of trees that are mostly in the way anyway so I can gradually cut some of them down and give to Leia to chew up :D Don't know how my wallet would keep up with her chewing needs if I wasn't able to provide free wood in addition to her toys at all times  :D

LOL Mines did that in a couple days and literary just left the chain hanging? It seems like the more you spend on the toy, the quicker they destroy it.

Hahah, me too! :D I always make sure to document Leia's destruction progress so that I can brag about my tiny little woodchipper on the internet ;)

If you didn't spend money replacing chewed up toys, you'd be like us buying tons more trying to find one they would chew lol. You can't win either way!

You could try a large hanging rope swing I attached to ceiling with a screw then used fishing line to hang at the hight you want by you. I attach one of those treat seed honey sticks to keep them busy, or weave millit or hang a foot toy for them to play with, I put a tray on the floor under it to catch mess. Or you can use a table top stand to have her near you while you game. EllenD recommend old paperback books to shred, it was great idea my quakers like shredding them.
