Feeling accomplished

This morning, i wanted to work on the harness with Yoshi, and he let me do it with very minimal whining. I was so excited that i immediately rewarded him with lots of praise and kisses on his head back of his nape bit higher closer to the head. Quickly took him on front of the yard and a little walk around the driveway. A little less than 5 minutes. At first he wasn't sure what was going on, after reassuring him that every thing is ok he quickly realized it was fun going on a little walk.

Sorry didn't get time to take pictures, didnt want him to fuss with the harness on. Will do it again later on today.

I feel so excited!!

Last night was actually my first go at it, but didnt put it over his head, more like letting him get to know it. I will consider myself lucky and a privilege that Yoshi let me get that far with him.

Well done , well done. YSA'S are so smart. My wife says that can't be a real parrot, it's really a stuffed Salty doll. LOL. Congrats again on your choice. I'd love to meet Yoshi, want to have a Skype video

Geeez Al...she's just around the "corner" from you lol.. I'd like to meet Yoshi too <and Mamaof3> Then Amy could see what she looked like when she was a lil weeee one lol.

Yes of course we can skype! I would love to meet salty! I just need to get back home from south jersey. Its a bit crazy at my mom's house with my kids. Im hoping with my kids going back to school in one week i can skype with Yoshi in peace...lol.

Poor Amy will have to babysit two young YSA's, she will be very tied on the way home from that gathering!

Jim, Yoshi looks a bit like a BFA but Mama says that he's a yellow shoulder , like Salty.

Something odd though, YSA are not supposed to get the yellow legs until they are older, in example, Saltys are still all green. Yet Yoshi's are certainly showing yellow. YSA are horn colored beaks, yet Yoshi has streaks of black.
And Yoshi's shoulders are really showing yellow, and again thats not supposed to develop until they are older.

Al, i know seems weird right?! I kept asking if he was a blue front mix. But they kept saying that she was a yellow shouldered. I got a hatch day certificate and the vets confirmation that he is a yellow shouldered. There is also red in his shoulders as well.

Well very soon, your YSA will be in full Adult color and at that point; all will be confirmed.

The only way a Vet should confirm is if that Vet is also seeing the Parents.

No not at all. He is at 230 grams now. And i got him from Todd marcus birds exotic. Yes at this point i dont care what he is anymore... love him too much.

This morning i was cleaning a bunch of his toys and the bathroom door was open ( toilet seat down), he saw me in there cleaning his toys and he got down from his travel cage ( he chilling on top of it) and walked that amazon walk and perched himself on my foot 😂😂😂. My boys were like " mommy birdie down, birdie down!".
