New Senegal help!

Hello everyone,

I just baught a Senegal about 2 days ago and she seems like she doesnt really want to bond with me. She steps up easy and wants to come out of her cage. But shes wish washy about me petting her and stuff. I was wondering how long she would be like this and if she would come out of it and want to start bonding with me. Shes only 5 months old and the woman I baught her from hand fed her and handled her alot. If anyone knows about bonding problems please sent a comment! Thanks

Ahh.... I don't wish to be rude... but two days?!

It takes longer than that, be patient. If she steps up and is coming out of her cage well be happy with that, thats more than should be expected after two days.

Let her get used to her new surroundings. Let her get used to seeing you every day, right now you're just some random new person - give her time to realize that you're going to stick around.

Keep talking to her and giving her chances to come over to you to be pet, but don't push her. Give it time and be patient.

Yeah, definitely be happy with that! We've had Morgan for 6 days yet, and she still doesn't step up with either of us.
