It sounds like territorial behaviour to me. I've never had this issue so hopefully one of the other more experienced members will be able to help.

A very quick search of google churned up the sentence "Rainbow Lorrie's are VERY territorial" lol. (dealing with a territorial rainbow lori)

I'm sure someone here will be able to help! :)

haha!

They're all strange birds!

Cal is a sun conure. She screams when she's happy, annoyed at you, being impatient, wanting to see you, loving life....doesn't matter! SCCRREEEEAAAAAAMMMMMM lol.

I used to have a Sun and I know what you mean. He loved to always let me know where he was with his screams. The only time he was not loud was when I was holding him or he was asleep. My neighboors thought I had a guard bird.

Ooooh I know....vocal!

Luckily I've taught her "no shout" but like all birds(y'know, you can include human "birds" in that too...), that selective hearing is SUCH an affliction for her....tut tut!

Try feeding her in another location like the kitchen counter or a table where you eat. Much less mess to clean up inside the cage.
