Help on Eastern Rosella

I will be buying a pair of Eastern Rosellas( in the picture bellow ) but before buying I would like some tips and help. I know that they want toys but what kind of toys do they want?(ladders, swings etc.). What kind of diet/food is appropriate to them?

i have 5 rosellas in my aviary. they like wooden toy's as they like to chew and mine tend to sleep on their swings. also one of those rope boings are a favourite. mine have a seed based diet called tidymix, its all human grade food and not overloaded with sunflower seeds. and plenty of fresh greens, kale and rocket is their favourite. also apple, strawberries and grapes. but you can try any fruit and veg to see what they like best. popcorn and sprouts go down well too.
rosellas love to fly so if not in a aviary they'll need time out of the cage to burn off some energy.

That's one of the birds I've always wanted to get and was going to get them, but I adopted the Cockatiels instead cause the owners beg me to take them as they were highly allergic to them. But I love my Cockatiels anyway.....They're beautiful birds!!!!

When I went to Mystic Aquarium and there was a big aviary there. There were tiels, budgies, and rosellas in the aviary, and I never saw anyone hold a rosella. They are aviary birds, as they are usually not tame-able and they love flying

Dimensions of the cage are height: 138 (inside height), width: 65, depth: 56. It will be very very similar to the one in the picture. I think it's enough for a pair of rosella.

I have one eastern rosella called Nolan, his cage is about the same size as the one shown. However, he is much largerthan most eastern rosellas, about ring neck size. He loves chillies, peppers, apples and also has a parrot sead mix. I have a bird bath on the floor of his cadge he loves getting right inside his bath and getting water every where. We have had him about 6 months now he would arch his neck and realy peck hard if you went near him when we first got him. I started taking his food away waiting till he was hungry and hand feeding him. He isnt totally tame yet I can tickle his belly from behind and get him to take food out of my hand he doesnt go to peck any more, just moves away if you get too close. I let him out of his cage most days he is very fast and amazing to watch fly around. He also coppies whistles, and likes his cagde being put outside, and listening to dance music. I have a large smart perches in his cadge to keep his feet heakthy, he likes wooden toys and his mirror. If anyone has any tips or ideas to get him more tame would like the advice.

Dmilla please check first to see if this pair is an aviary pair or not. If they are will be very flighty & probably not suitable or happy in a smaller cage.

Also Rosallars are a very hard bird to tame & keep tame. They do well out in aviaries with plenty of room to fly about. Here in OZ i don't know anyone that has any species of rosella as a companion parrot. I have also been told that even if the chicks have been hand-raised they don't stay tame for very long after weaning.
