First hey everyone!!

I just got a new tiel. In case the thread title didn't give it away his name is toast. One thing I am unsure of is if "he" is actually a he? Here are some photos of him.

Also, he will look in the mirror, and then flip upside down on his perch and spread his or her I guess wings and just hang out upside down for about 30 seconds. What is that??

I do believe Toast is indeed a boy, unless I'm rustier on my cockatiel mutations than I thought.
He looks to be partly pied, not just normal grey.

My girl tiel Lucy does that silly bat-bird pose, as does my mother's female tiel. They're just showing off and playing. A happy tiel is a bat-bird.

Yay! I wasn't sure if it was a happy pose or something else. He does it ALL the time!

He is adorable! And I've seen lots of birds who like to hang upside down. My Quaker will swing from one leg from the roof of his cage and drink from his water bottle upside down! (The silly little clown!)
