House and Wilson-Lineolated Parakeet Brothers
Here are my new boys, House and Wilson. :blue2::blue2: They came home on Wednesday and are so sweet. Wilson loves to snuggle on my shoulder and give kisses. House is a bit of a nipper but is learning. House loves to play, chatter and give lots of attitude!!! He even "talks" in his sleep. :rolleyes:They love nutriberries and millet and I'm trying to get them to eat their fresh fruit and veggies.

I totally recommend linnies to anyone looking for a new friend. I have both spectrum of the breeds personalities and even my loud and rowdy boy isn't that loud and rowdy. They really are such a great bird for bird newbs like myself and great for households with little kids! My son was laughing in hysterics when Wilson pooped on me and they weren't even fazed by his screeching.:p

They are still a bit frightened of my hand although House will step up. They much perfer the stick or my shoulder at this point. Trying to get them to hang out on the playtop more, if anyone has any tips on that, please let me know.

They are absolutely adorable! It looks like you did a great job furnishing their cage as well. Look at all those toys!

LOL, yeah they aren't short on toys!;) At first the cage wasn't so packed with toys but I learned quickly the linnies want to climb, not fly from perch to perch. So the toys are more like a super linnie highway across the cage. But I already want a bigger cage for them.:)

We are making amazing progress too! Both are giving kisses now and House didn't bite yesterday!! We are working on them liking hands, staying on the playtop and eating their fruits and veggies.
