Question What would their offspring look like? Any guesses?

I have a lutino hen and a sky blue male. They’re not mates, I’ve just always wondered what their offspring would look like.

My lutino hen, Okli, mated with my normal green/yellow male Carlos. Me, being a newbie to mutations, was expecting yellow and green pied babies. Boy was I off. (Note; The picture of the parents is when I first got them, I know Okli looks young but she didn’t breed until 1 1/2 years old).

They produced mostly inos (lutinos and creaminos). And a couple of greens, one pale blue, and even a grey! I was shocked after having all inos the first two clutches.

So, what would the offspring look like if Okli bred with Pineapple, my sky blue?

Re: What would their offspring look like? Any guesses?

I'll start from explaing of your first experience.
Looking on the photos, the blue babies weren't blue muation - this is named parblue. The real blue mutation never has yellow color. But how it was possible? - Both parents had to be spilts to this mutation, this isn't visible. Basing on babies, we also can say your male was spilt to lutino.

Creamino is a combination of lutino and parblue mutations. This means that when we can get both mutations, we also can get creamino. I don't really have ideas for the grey one, do you have any photos?
Green ones are when the bird "has no mutations" (probability for lutino was 50%, for parblue 25%; in both probabilties I included creamino verson)
Do you know Pineapple's parents? I'm asking because this can help to say to what mutations he is spilt. If he isn't spilt to lutino, lutino babies won't be possible. Blue and parblue mutations are co-dominant - this means that combination is "something between them" - there's still yellow color but less. From your birds will be: 50% blue-parblue and 50% green.
I noticed that Pineapple is skyblue opaline (blue color is on his neck). In their offspring all females also would be opaline. In green verson there will be green instead of blue on the neck. Offspring based on only this what we know:
males: opaline and opaline blue-parblue
females: normal and blue-parblue
These mutations above are sure but there also can be a suprise like ealier because of not knowing Pineapple spilts.... and I didn't explain the grey chick

Ps. Had Carlos a blueish belly? I'm asking because generally parblue budgie mutations are dominant but in this case you'd have spilt to recessive parblue. Sf goldenface is a type of dominant parblue which is green and here is a photo: https://www.cutelittlebirdiesaviary....oldenface.html Is this looking like Carlos? If yes, I will have to correct my answer because these are two different types of inheritance

Holy moly that was a lot! So much to learn about budgie genetics oof. Thanks so much for all that info! Unfortunately, I do not know Pineapple’s parents. I adopted him from a pet store. I don’t have other photos of the grey babies unfortunately, they’ve been adopted. Carlos might have a little blue, I can’t really tell. Could just be the lighting.

Re: What would their offspring look like? Any guesses?

I don't really know neither. I he was sf goldenface, than Okki isn't spilt to parblue and offspring with Pineapple would be normal females and opaline males + maybe something else.
I was searching about recessive parblue mutations in budgies, but I'm not sure if they exist. Maybe they are but not named. To me more probably seems to be verson of sf goldenface mutation but then chicks wouldn't be blue ...or I've just invented another verson - I don't know how there looks a combination sf goldenface-blue. Maybe Okki is spilt to blue than:
50% non-blue (I'm writing about only parblue and blue mutation, here can be normals and lutinos)
25% sf goldenface (like Carlos and creaminos with more yellow)
25% sf goldenface-blue
Than we could add to the offspring with Pineapple blue mutation (50% for each gender). Now when I'm thinking, this getting more and more complicated. If no one else will help with this and you will want, I can ask a budgie mutation expert. My knowledge is mainly theoretical
