A Cage for Budgies or a Cockatiel?

I have a brand new cage (one I bought for a different kind of bird before considering Budgies or Cockatiels.) It's never been used. It is 30"W x 18"D x 18"H. It hangs on a bird stand that is 5 feet tall.

Do you think this size of cage is good for 2 Budgies? What about 1 Cockatiel? Not sure which type of bird I'll be getting but have been doing research.

If there is another cage or two you know of that would be better, please let me know. Thanks!

Not sure if it is tall enough for a teil. If your going to use it for budgies just make sure bar spacing is not to wide.

What they call a "flight cage" is nice for either species. I was thinking, maybe the 18" tall might be not tall enough? You could get by with that for the budgies, but ideally it should be taller. Do you already have this cage, or is this one you are planning on?

Edit: sorry, I just saw you said you have it already. Try it out and see how it is. You can always get another one and keep this for the patio, etc.

The bar spacing is 1/2". I think I'll try it for 2 Budgies that I want.
