Male Parakeet feeding My Cockatiel Babies!

Throughout my breeding years I've NEVER witnessed a Male Parakeet going inside a Cockatiel's nest box to feed babies until tonight. The Parakeet(Levi) is in love with the father of the babies(Max) and he follows him everywhere. Levi tries to feed Max countless times. And Levi have fed Max on a few occasions, I caught them doing so. So there's the parents' little helper!!!! The babies are all well fed by the parents plus Levi. Very interesting thing for me to witness!!!

Mommie tiel Sybil don't even know about it cause she is out stuffing her face when Levi goes in to feed. She will not allow him in the box if she's in there!!!! Max don't even go in there at night now like he used to before lights out....Only Sybil goes in with the babies for the night. :)

How funny. That sweet little boy just pitching in! What would mama do if she caught him in her nest box? This little guy will do anything to impress his love. lol

She chases him out! Levi peeks at the entrance everyday and chase away any other keets that gets too close. :)

Aww. My Sammy tried to feed my baby tiel. Lol
But his beak is the size of the baby so I didn allow it just in case. However he bobs his head and follows me (well tries) when I go to feed. I have pics but I have to upload em.

You know I wonder if a amazon fed a clutch of baby tiels... Would the babies feel they are zons too?? That would be awesome. Amazon tempered cockatiels.
