persistant and stubborn!..

....that little so-and-so BB is! He rufuses to except NO! when I try to keep him off my shoulder! I put him on the kitchen table and he gets right to the edge,ready to jump/fly to me..so I move my chair back out of his reach,and he prances this way and that,looking down to jump on my knee or lap so he can climb up me back to my shoulder..so I raise both hands,fingers wide,and follow him so he doesn't have a clear path to me,and the little bugger keeps trying!

I put millet on the table,he looked at it,then threw it on the floor,and then AGAIN waved his arms wildly to get to me. I told him "ok,your going on the floor now" and he walks around a bit,jumps on my sneakers and climbs my pant leg to get to me.

If I put him on his roof top..he is fine. He whistles and chirps and twittles away,plays alittle,but as soon as he gets on my hand,he makes his way up my arm,and I put him back on my hand and he goes again up my arm
THEN if I give in,as soon as I try getting him OFF my shoulder,he growls at me < if that's what you wanna call it lol> and runs to the other shoulder,nipping at my fingers lol..I'm thinking of renaming him VELCRO

Sounds kind of familiar, hahah. Especially the nipping at your fingers part. When the D bird thinks I'm going in for bird removal maneuver, he'll do this thing where he's biting about 6 times a second and all over the place. But there's no power in his bites. I'm not really sure if he's trying to get my hand away or if he's just playing around. It's actually pretty cute for the time being but I'll probably pay later for spoiling him rotten now

Ha ha BB is one very smart boy and he knows if he keeps trying that he will win in the end...I love hearing all about BB and all his antics hes an Amazing little character and he gives me a laugh everyday when I read about all he has been up to Velcro is okay and Velcro for sure he is but I think you should leave him BB Jim it sort of suits the little guy

I dunno...maybe coz I REALLY wanted the little guy to bond to me,I let him do what he wanted/wants. I know,being at such a tender young age,he is very impressionable,and all of my flock were/are shoulder birds,which didn't bother me.

Amy doesn't ask to get on my shoulder,she is content with my hand or arm,doesn't try to climb up me. Smokey wasn't a "hold me,touch me" type of grey,and when she DID want to be on my shoulder,I felt privileged lol.

The Cockatoo Man,being a "needy" sort anyway,would climb my arm and perch on my shoulder,but after he changed to his jeckyl/hyde 'too'd,he was forbidden on it.

But BB's attitude is "I'm gonna get on your shoulder one way or another,if you like it or not" is starting to agro me. but when he is there,and I whistle Andy Griffith to him,and he looks at me with those beady little eyes of his,like he is really listening to me,and starts to beak my cheek or pull at my mustache... I kind of melt..lol

Mr Biggles was trying out BBs hairdo after his shower the other day but he could only get one feather to crest he says he is looking for shower and hairdressing tips from BB I think Ive been forgiven for that shower as Mr Biggles isnt as nippy today LoL I love hearing all about BB and the things he gets up to

Thats the truth for sure Jim but BB is having a Great Shot at Ruling aswell showing all Cockatiels that they Rule too Amy of course remains the Queen errr King LoL
