I know for a fact that in the wild cockatoos are still fed by their parents until they are around 6 years old. And since cockatiels are from the cockatoo family, is it true for them?
I would like to know at what age a cockatiel matures. Budgies at the age of 3, and that's all I know. Do cockatiels also mature at the age of 3 years.
I'm asking because Elvis is starting to become a bit territorial, and I think it might be because he is maturing, but he isn't even 2 yet.
